There is PvP and there is bullying

    I don't have anyone I know playing the game and so I end up going solo when I play (not had any luck with Galleons as every one I have had has zero team work/kids shout swearing constantly if they can't steer even though the voted voyage is other way).

    I spent an hour doing my voyage getting skulls and one chest and when I went to hand in I got attacked by a Galleon and lose everything (p****d off but part of the game I get that) but what occurs after is whats unfair and there was no way to get the names of the players.

    I spent 20 mins straight re-spawning and being killed at my spawn point at the ship by 4 players until I rage quit. They all were giggling while they all hit my with the blunderbuss pretty much meaning I lasted 4 seconds before dying.

    That's bullying and as a grown adult I can handle swearing, losing my gear but that done to a kid? that's a lost player and rare need to have a reporting system with an ability to show who recently killed you so you can report it.

    Ah well, life is pretty rough. Bullies at every turn. You'll get used to it, or counter it soon enough.

    I disagree, that's exploiting the game mechanics to actively grief someone. They took all 4 skulls and 2 chests and I had nothing left to take except their pleasure of constantly killing me for 20 mins. They left my boat intact to do it and that isn't right

    Why didn't you scuttle your ship after dying for the third time in a row from the Ferry? Did you have a purpose in going back repeatedly, or are you not aware of this feature that allows you to reset your spawn with a new ship a couple islands away?

    Well, in the future when that situation arises, scuttle the ship. Save yourself the time and aggravation. Hit start, or ESC and vote for it in your menu. Can be done from the Ferry of the Dead as stated.

    See that's yet another oversight by rare.
    Where in the game is anyone supposed to know that you can do that?
    Almost every post I've seen here about spawn camping hasn't been aware of scuttling because the person who programmed the "tutorial" if you call it that, probably did it 20mins before the server went live!

    @chaoichi in the future hide your chests on islands when soloing, don’t ever keep them on board🤔 I tested this recently, it seems you can leave chests anywhere, on land, and they won’t de spawn from the server. it takes a little note taking to do this effectively; but folks like to grief, so it’s worth it. I left a couple chests for three hours on a couple different islands and they were all there when I got back😬
