I've been playing since launch and I've seen literally like 8 ships in that time, 3 of them being Galleons. It would be interesting to know how many players are in Oceania. I also heard that the servers work by balancing servers out with players so no one is left in a empty server but either there are no OCE players or the servers aren't doing their job. Any others finding this a problem?
No Players in OCE?
I'm in Australia and I've been matched with a few Aussies and a few Kiwis.
I am however most of the time matched with Americans and on occasion Russian and Germans. With Aussies and Kiwis I find little to no lag. Americans, lag. Germans or Russians and it is so laggy even staying completely still I move around and teleport.
A sad state of affairs.
@pocket-fox-au I'm from NZ and 99% of the time I get 96ish ping which is awesome but I'm never matched with Americans etc unless I join solo into a 4 man.
@platypuserotica No challenge though lol. Literally forced to play by myself coz my mates think it's repetitive and mainly fun because of pvp but there is none in OCE, so there not wrong really :/
@thready11 Yeah but with a game with such little content atm I'm gonna need more players to come across to compete against. Sloops are even hard to find.
@freedomblad I'm in NZ and I play all sorts of times cos as a writer, I don't have regular work hours. (creativity strikes at 2am sometimes)
As a result I find I either play dead Anzac servers or yank ones.
The kiwis are almost entirely friendly and peaceful, as are most Aussies older than about 18/19.
Americans are almost entirely aggressive, unruly and very young.
Though I've had a great few exceptions to that, with good crews that would do a mix of things, and be helpful and communicative.
It's luck of the draw really!@mcdoll Mmmm but would be nice to be able to verse others with your own mates rather than having to join with randoms all the time.
