@zokraitz And you took that personally? So it sounds like his comment struck a deep personal tone with you there. He didn't include you or specifically target you. Showing your true colors here, friend. You are making no sense on this matter, Zokraitz. Agree committee? What in the name of the Giant Crab are you talking about?
Where is the player interaction besides just killing each other Zokraitz? Where is the gambling gold sink? Where are the PvE content that actually requires more then 1 crew to do? Where is that? This game does not need purple items. It needs tools to foster relations between crews that doesn't strictly revolve around I see a ship. Let's blow it the **** out of the water.
Yeah that's what bothers me a lot is that Rare threw in the most basic form of open PvP (without consequences or reasons to even interact with the world beyond getting supplies) and then didn't add in any social structure or reason to be friendly to other crews. It's like somehow they thought that this wouldn't happen despite the same problems always happening when devs get cocky and think that their sandbox game with open PvP will somehow turn out different. Did they really think everyone would roleplay or act like decent human beings on a game about piracy where you have every reason to kill someone and no reason to spare them?
