Ive had two hunt voyages now where you hunt down crews and when i go to the island i can not get the skellys to spawn. Advice?

I have had the same issue.
We wasted much time searching leaving the island and returning later didnt help.@iamincubus so just abandon then. All i needed really was to see if anyone was doing anything else different or if there was some trick i was not doing
