I wanted to be a pirate with a tricorn hat and I'm disappointed. I hope one gets in.
I don't See One Tricorn Hat in the shop

Correct me if in wrong isn't there only 3 hats? Not including ever black dog stuff?
Just 4.
Yeah, I believe there should be more clothing options available to buy from the start.
More options available, but nicer, fancier versions further in reputation progression and for legendary pirates.
Tricorn hats, bandanas, head bands, vests... should all be in the starting items of outpost stores, in my opinion.@Deckhands Sorry @WearySwing86561 you are a necromancer. You are not supposed to resurrect old threads it is against forum rules.
@ve111a Although you are correct and it is against forum rules, but wouldn't we all rather one thread on each topic instead of thousands?
For so long people were being scoffed at for not searching for an existing thread of the given topic.
Now we're being told don't add your opinion to old threads.Have we been told exactly how old is an old thread? After what period of time (following the last comment) can't we add to the already established thread?
It kind of puts us between a rock and a hard place.
To keep both rules active means the forum will die or technically it is already dead as everything has already been mentioned before.Edit: The ONLY way to have an unbiased open discussion is to read everyone's opinion on the subject, past and present... in the same thread.

To keep both rules active means the forum will die or technically it is already dead as everything has already been mentioned before. They have said they prefer topics 2 weeks old or older to remain dead, and just start a new thread. For many topics, that is because updates and changes can make the discussion point obsolete, or at least many posts within the thread irrelevant and misleading. While that may not apply to threads like this, it's easier on everyone if consistency is enforced, which is why they do it. They've also stated that they're working on a mechanism to prevent this in the future.
It's one of those things that can go both ways at times. Sometimes it's appropriate to start a new thread, other times it's unnecessary, but the best course is to just stick to the rule in most cases.
