Unlimited health on ship. We blasted 20 rounds into the ship. All 4 of them went to our ship. We all killed them lol despite they had more health than usual (4 shotgun blast in the head). Im glad Im on the gamepass. Lack of content and now cheaters. Nice. See you in 6 months.

@thebloodly As some others have suggested, are you sure you were aiming in the right spot? You need to aim low on their ship to get the bottom of the ship to fill with water so the holes on the higher levels are able to be filled. If you really feel like you ran into some foul play, please report it on the support page with as many details as possible.

You do know if you wont shoot under the water line it does almost nothing. 5 shotgun blasts maybe you werent close enough and maybe they were eating bananas ?
2nding the original post's report of invincible ships. I posted in the other thread about our run in with hackers last night, same thing. We started with 90 cannon balls, 70 of them were on target, 40 below the water line, still did not sink. we boarded, and they told us to "go away" and "you can't beat us". Sounds like banter but after several attempts to sink them with below water shots and only 2 on board to patch, they still didn't sink and they flat out stated they were hacking. I don't know if it was some sort of hack that gives you instant repairs, because with the speed we were firing at they would not have been able to patch as much as they did.
@la-skate Thanks, that's really awesome of you to say. I'm a pc user, I don't cheat and never have, but I agree I should not be able to play the game with xbox users. How dare anyone on a pc try to play a game with users of different hardware.
@zep-darkwater I never thought it was a good idea to have PC users play with xbox users but thats just me. Good for you for not cheating but unfortunately there is alot of them out there who do and enjoy ruining the game for others.
@la-skate A better reasoning might be to focus on how Rare is going to stop this. As a pc user I can assure you that I hate cheaters just as much as you, but its naive to think that there are not people using 3rd party programs on xbox to cheat as well.
I would advise anyone suspected of cheating be reported right away. I would like to hear from Rare about this subject myself. There is nothing more annoying than someone cheating in any game.@thebloodly Just been ingame and saw the first hackercrew.

No its NOT imaginary and smth has to be done about this, as this is an absolut deal breaker for me.He was able to survive us shooting at him from close distance while using each 6 lifes on him (he killed instantly).
He was able to switch through all weapons .

Up to now we had no problem defeating enemy crews. just this one was impossible to kill even ONCE.TLDR:
HAX ARE REAL. Do something!@heartlesshammer I don't know if the people posting here encountered hackers are not, but to think it doesn't happen is just crazy. There are sites already offering hacks for Sot's. Rare needs to get ahead of this before it spreads.
@zep-darkwater I agree. So frustrating to spend all that time getting treasures and not being able to do a damn thing in battle then lose everything. Yeah we could play solo but what fun is that. I agree Rare really needs to do something quick or they are going to lose alot of players really quick. I dont know if A Way Out is on PC but if it is I would highly recommend that game it is great.
there are cheaters out there...i have seen a few. Theres even a post with a video on these very forums with a video of a guy surviving 20 shots and atleast as many saber swings. So dont dismiss the people claiming there a lot of cheaters in this game. Untill Rare gets a proper anticheat mechanism in the game i guess we will have to live with it :(
@la-skate Well I hope Rare does fix it, in the future keep in mind not all of us pc users are in the same boat as the morons that cheat.
I've had to leave several games because of idiot aimbotters . I never really understood the need to cheat in a game, but somehow it makes some people happy. I'd like to see Rare respond to this sooner rather than later.Depending on where you shoot the ship and how many holes you make decides how fast it will sink!

Hm, As someone who plays solo I have had no trouble sinking ships.. Sure I can pump about 10 shots into a ship and it not sink. Though with a 4man crew even 2 people repairing can keep it up and going. My sunk count now as a solo player is 17Sloops and 5 Galleons. I've sunk more as a solo player vs being a 2 man crew or 3 or 4. Just need to learn to aim while fighting a Galleon is good, to shoot at mid-deck it's not that useful until they sink down that low. All you gotta do is be able to predict shots while on the sea.. Ships always bouncing around a lot so shots tend to go higher then you aim up! Takes practice but you'll get the hang of it.

Like you shot them 7 times? You know that someone can eat a banana in the time it takes for you to reload yes? Good combo's for up close fighting is a single shotgun blast then bringing your sword out to finish them off. Cause I've never seen this before and I've put at least 14 hours a day into this game since it was released.
@dread1217 No it was definitely hacks man. I have ran into three of these players now who could not be killed no matter how many times I shot him with the blunderbuss or sliced him with the sword.
