I'm thinking about buying something for a ship.
I don't understand what ship it goes on and who all can see it. I mean, as of now, we don't really "own" a ship. Also, what happens when I die and/or get a new ship?
Ship Customization: How?
@dislex-fx Ship customization is yours to keep. It will auto spawn with your items, kind of like your Pirate. Now if 3-4 people all spawn in it will be a mix of the others who also have ship customizations. So your sails, their figurehead, the boats colors etc.

A mix? Wow. That's interesting. If players have the same items, does it randomly pick?
So, if I join a group of randoms and they have already been playing, will my custom pieces show up, or do we all have to be in the pre-game lobby?
@dislex-fx no, when you spawn you have to go the vendor that sells the customization and you can apply the skin how you want it, it doesnt matter if you are the captain or not, if you select a skin, it will be applied to your ship. It is not automatically applied to your ship when you load a game.
