I have been doing a massive amount of research of these uncharted islands and found a a great deal. I sailed to site 14-k (map coordinates) and uncovered things I have not heard anyone talk about. Site 14-k is actually 2 islands and several outlying pieces of land, usually only a few meters across made out of sand almost completely. The two main islands are pretty barren, with one small lean-to structure on the eastmost island. In between the western and eastern islands lies a shipwreck called the Killer Whale. This shipwreck is significant because it is the only ship model where the name plate on the door that adorns the top door sill of the captains quarters actually has the name of the ship, and is not blank that the rest of them. Inside the wreck lies a shredded portrait of an unknown pirate. The crows nest sticks out of the water on the main mast, atop the railing is one of Merricks Journals. This journal is literally a rick roll, but it also contains a small portion of text about Merrick himself. It seems to imply that Merrick is somehow responsible for summoning "man eating sea monsters". I suggest you read it yourself too. Most of site 14-k's secrets lie under the water, near the islands. There are many ancient ruins to the south of both islands, just off the shore. These being pillars and archways, but the most significant being located somewhere off the coast of the westernmost island that has likeness of an altar, with one great stone arch and underneath it a short pillar with a triangular hole in the center. As well, there are pillars and other small structures scattered about, but perhaps the most mysterious of all these being the mermaid statues. One is red, and to the east, it can be easily seen from afar because it shines in the water, the other is blue, to the west. Both these statues are quite far from the island shore, but not too far or deep. These statues will harm you when you get too close. Another point of interest lies on the north shore, there appears to be several underwater remains of a lost settlement, that looks considerably more modern than the others, with wooden supports along the stone walls. As well, on the north western side of the eastern island is a small opening to a chasm, that leads to an underwater cave, this cave will lead you to another opening in the ocean. It is quite treacherous to swim through and there is nothing of interest so far in the cave.
