Cheat or Exploit? i need some opinions

    So i faced this 2 guys in his sloop today [Mod edited] while doing some voyages and we started to fight for a long time.... after 30 minutes of exchanging cannonballs and all that i decided to jump to his ship them, killed them both and stole all his supplies... just 2 boards.. 2 or 3 bannanas and all the cannonballs they had left, i doublechecked all the barrals and they had literally 0 cannonballs left.... my teammates anchored at his side and i came back to sank the ship, they managed to repair and started running and fighting back.

    Now comes the dilema.... they started shooting back cannonballs... but they didnt stopped, 10 cannonballs... 20... 30? they did like 80+ more shots and managed to repair every single hole in their ship without any problem... reported them both but im curious about wth was going on there, they were hacking or is there any exploit to do that kind of thing?

    btw.. they didnt manage to board our ship and stole ours, just in case you wanna say so. Also, getting 3 consecutive point blank shotgun shots on the chest without eating a single banana and not dying was kinda odd

    @ankhagg Hmm, it's possible that they had each 10 cannonballs on them personally, they may have had a cannonball crate stashed somewhere and they hold 50....

    @katttruewalker nah, checked even the crow's nest to make sure they didnt had anithing else to steal, and yeha, they can have 20 stacked, but not 80

    you said that you sank there ship when you skin or kill a player they spawn were a small amount of items the ships item get respawn to full stats normal 15 planks and 15 bananas and 20 canon balls x 2 box loads. So I would say no to ship exploit or cheats.

    Now for the players them self they can carry up to 5 bananas each and 10 cannonballs few planks times this by 2x per player.

    As for "3 consecutive point blank shotgun shots on the chest without eating a single banana and not dying was kinda odd" the hit box and health in game is very off you could head shot with the sniper three times and they still wont die the only thing that seem to do the best damage in game is swords? the health bar is little off as you can shoot me once only little bit of health is lost.

    I normal use Cheats on a lot of single player games when am board I also tend to check for hacks and exe trainers for game I play online with to compere them with base game functional systeam to know if a player is cheating me or not. I can say for now most cheat sites are not looking at SOF to do cheat for due to the way windows store and game api works so you will most likely not see many cheaters at the moment that be said am sure there number of in game exploits that have not surfaced yet but will get patched.

    If you feel you been cheated all I can say is you could try to live stream game play or record events if possible to aid in reporting cheaters.

    @arg-falcos i might explain something wrong, or maybe you missundertood something, the thing is that all this happened without any of us sinking, so no respawn restock...
    Some Guy said un reddit that there os a known glitch that lets you pick an infinite ammount if items but i never heard such thing and he didnt provided any kind of link to confirm

    Definitely pc cheaters running god mode and aim bots. My 4 man crew has blundered solo guys multiple times over the last few days plus swording them after shooting the c**p out of them and they still squad wipes us repeatedly. Hitting a guys sloop with 40 cannon hits and never sank until the moment the guy left his boat to board ours. I’m done, crossplay ruined this game for console players. My final experience about40 minutes ago (before refunding) was 4 men shooting one guy at an outpost over and over on top of swording him and we all get wiped, spawn and get wiped, spawn and get wiped. That was the last straw for me.

    I should add, the pc guy above may be correct about actual file manipulation cheats. There are mice out there much like a modded controller only way more powerful that completely enable aim botting and other most wanted features by cheaters that are 100% undetectable. That’s a fact.

    Sorry I misunderstood you I thought you said that you sank them and they re-spawned.

    Sadly I have not ran into these issue in game as I said sure there number of in game exploits that have not surfaced yet but will get patched at some point as for now the only way to get rid of them is to record your game play and add it to reports.

    BACTERIA SOUR am sure for pc gamer there will be a small amount of cheaters running god mode and aim bots this happens sadly in most all pc titles I have not seen any to report on the normal site that they pop up on but give it time and the devs will find and punish them. and possible re-balance is need for the game as were still in first month of its launch I'd give it time for the cracks to get filled in. But total understand that you be upset and want a refund.

    I would love to help out with this test out few ways this would be possible but i dont wanna get in trouble by RARE or cheat in general. I hope this is just a bug.

    You may want to chill a bit, i doubt their boats are hax. but they themselves sure.

    I listed my source, it wouldn’t be honest of me to list a source I didn’t actually source the info from no? I don’t live on these forums so I was unaware of previous posts or mentions.
