South East Asia Ping

    Anybody playing from South East Asia? I'm playing from Indonesia and constantly got 200+ ping. Just wondering if this is normal or my ISP is problematic.

    Considering Singapore get official launch i thought there's at least some server nearby here, but because the ping i really doubt it. Although i don't know how the server work, some info will be nice.

    I've been playing since the second Alpha session, and I can't recall a single instance of the game running smoothly. For whatever reason, the Oceanic region gets screwed over.

    I played today at lunch and the ping was ok, I'm in China but using my work VPN which goes through HK. If I play on my laptop the ping is pretty awful. Unfortunately even at work I couldn't find any other players in the game...

    I'm in Australia and noticed the ping today is terrible. Jittering almost every ten seconds.

    Hey, I also play from Indonesia, I have fiber optics connection.
    And usually have about 30-40 ms on any decent singaporian server.
    On sea of thieves, the best ping I ever had was about 160 ms with nobody and nothing around. (cause yes the more action and people there is around you the more the latency get unstable and fluctuate very high, up to 300 ms ).
    I guess that is a hong kong based server. And usually I set sail alone to have that kind of latency, if I set sail with a full crew I ll be always put on Australian server, and have around 200-250 ms.
    I opened a ticket to ask about this situation(also on the official discord), if yes or not singaporian server from azure are being used or not, nobody answered me.
    So I am pretty sure they are no singaporian server at the moment. Only Australian server and maybe HK based.
