Grouping up xbox with pc players

  • Dose any one know how to do this?
Its simple to group up on the xbox with your mates but how do you do this with pc players. This game is cross platform and as I only play on xbox I don't know how to do this.

  • They'll need an Xbox gamertag to play, so it should be exactly the same.

  • PC players have the XBOX App on their windows 10 PCs, where they can manage friends, join parties, and receive invites for the games. Just treat them like xbox players and it works.

  • @wintersmith81 Ahoy there!

The process is exactly the same, either invite their Gamertag to a party or in game lobby or game in progress. The PC user will have to use the Xbox app to pick up the invites/messages.

  • ok nice I didn't know this! Thanks for the info!!

  • Cross platform yes, but also exclusive to the xbox app which makes no distinction between platforms. My xbox friends show up just the same as my pc friends in the app and inviting them works exactly the same way in crossplatform games

  • You do need friends though.

    Do you have any friends?

    DO you? DO YOU?

  • @wintersmith81 Party invites with the xbox player creating lobbies is easiest in my experience.
You need their gamertag and that's it on xbox PC is not used to the interface and it isn't optimized so messages and parties make things easier for all.

  • @wintersmith81 you just have to add the person thanks to are gamertag and after a simple prompt is enough =)

  • There's no difference in process. You add them the to your friends list, then invite them to the game. That's it. It doesn't matter what system they're on.
