I've been able to launch and play the game perfectly a couple times and played a few hours with my friends. But somehow ever since the time hit 16pm PST the game crashed and i can't even launch it anymore. Stuck on that grey screen or sometimes the game will load to the lobby, but then it gets stuck onto the loading screen as i try to connect to a server. The game over all is great despite some of the lacking content, but it's extremely frustrating to have payed 79,99 plus the taxes to come to such a disfunctionning game. I'm aware of how the team is tearing their a***s to make it work, but the fact that this is happening shows the lack of preparation like many pointed out. I love you Rare, but you really need to fix this ASAP. Worst tease ever...

The game launches now. I can access the lobby and set sail, but the loading session is bugged and doesn't seem to load at all. The wheel is turning, but the pictures aren't changing. The tips are rolling and it's endless wait for nothing. God this is annoying. What in the hell am i supposed to do. I don't want to wait a whole other week for a fix lol.
@rdizz I know i got everything required for the game and it worked perfectly yesterday and the day of the release. But ever since yersterday afternoon nothing works. The problem isn't on my end, but on the end of microsoft and Rare. Originally this post was meant to find a solution and seeing the lack of reply it seems like nobody has a fix. So yeah i'm pretty f*****g p****d to pay for a game that i cant even launch anymore.
EDIT: It did that during the release before it stopped and i could play, but here we go again.

I get your p****d man, I do.
But what are your system specs to me it sounds like a band with issue or even firewall. Start by restarting your router/modem then give it a go. Make sure your Windows firewall isn't blocking it either it may not one day then it does the next.
What is your current DL speeds? Does this seem to happen during "peak hours"?
@rdizz i have a intel core I7 which is more than the recommended requirement. I got a nvdia geforce 970 grafic card and 8 g ram. My firewall isn't blocking s**t and my download speed is at 60 mbs. Everything should work perfectly like it did yesterday, but somehow it likes to be a d**k. I haven't tried resetting my router but to be honest with you it won't do s**t about the game not starting. This would be required if i had issues connecting to the servers which isn't the problem right now.
EDIT: Let's just hope the reinstall does it.

It may work. Keep in mind you're paying for 60 but may only be getting 5 atm. Especially since you're not on fiber when others get home and share your bandwidth not just people you live with but surrounding areas. Its worth a shot, be it a long shot regardless worth trying. And of course their servers are having overload problems so I'm sure that is the main cause here. But it's always best to check every possible solution on your end first.
Only reason I'm going with this is because you get to the loading screen and see the wheel spinning and can't connect that is an issue trying to connect to the server. I could be wrong.
@rdizz yeah that is when the game is able to launch but it doesn't right now. For that part it's obviously their servers or my connection, but i'm really wondering what's causing all the other problems. I will wait for it to be done installing and see if it's fixed. I'll see afterwards for the router. I can't do much atm but wait.
@rdizz as expected it didn't do it. I also resetted my router and it doesn't work either. This game went from awesome to trash in just a few hours.
@rdizz right now i'm stuck at the grey screen at launch. It may go through and bring me to the black screen of the logos. Except that the logos aren't showing up. It,s basically freezing at start for no reason at all. I checked the process everything seems in order too.
Hmmm maybe it's a Windows issue. Check this out. Hope this fixes your issues. This was posted today.
@rdizz yeah i thought so too. I just installed the 1709 update which i installed months ago. Somehow i had to reinstall it all over again. I checked my updates and nothing comes up now meaning everything is up to date. Same goes for my grafic card's driver.

Looks like the update was pushed today? Maybe it's not showing in your region yet?
There are 4 steps there though that may help
@rdizz Not sure about that, but everything is possible at this point... i'm losing so much faith and patience for this game right now.
EDIT: I read somewhere that my anti virus might be causing the problem. I,m uninstalling it right now to test it out.

You will get it sorted, looks like that Windows update may be your villian here.
Hey, you got to play at least. I haven't been able to log in at all, ever. Tried all the fixes that are listed, did three reinstalls as well. Nothing. Over 36 hrs ago I got a note from rare tech support when I sent in a ticket to say basically "Yeah, that sounds bad. Let me kick this up to another department" and since then not a word. Seriously considering refund at this point since I can't log in. And I know several others who have the same issue.
@rslglitch That's riddiculous. I hope you get to play man. The game is awesome despite all the issues.
EDIT: I uninstalled my anti virus and it still doenst work so its not the problem here. The fix 4 that they give seemed to be the problem here. i ran the command Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
and it says "impossible to find access point." Sent a ticket to find out the issue here.
