I cant open the game...

    Since the game was in closed beta I have the same problem I click to open the image with the boats appear and nothing, already opened some calls to the support but apparently will not be solve ...

    if you are on pc try logging in with your ms account rather than local, or try uninstalling then reinstalling the xbox insider app if you have it!

    @logansdadtoo none of this works. not installing another app and running SOT nor the powershell option nor the windows store troubleshooter. idk how you guys are getting it to work but no fix i can find is working for me

    Check Downloads and updates and make sure your version number is 2.74.9691.2. If it is, try clicking on the game from that window (Downloads and updates) and use the "Play" button on the resulting screen. That worked for somebody else.

    @ludicrous2017 it is the correct version but when i see that window there is no play button. i click the tema in the updates tab and it takes me to the store page where there is no playh or install on xbox one buttons. im seriously getting very sad rn

    @ludicrous2017 well i had to logout of my account on windows to get the play button to show up but unfortunatley it is still not working.

    My only other ideas are (1) try hitting escape key when boats appear (screen will go gray for a bit) and/or (2) try restarting your computer (not powering down and restarting, just Restart from Power button).

    @ludicrous2017 I really do appreciate you trying to help but nothing happens when i press escape and ive restarted my pc multiple times now

    I've tried everything, I've reinstalled several times, I've logged in with other accounts, and by what I realize this problem is happening with several people and with no solution.

    We are aware of instant crash issue.
    There will be game update early this week that should fix your issue.

    @supra-oreos I can confirm although it is a very annoying and time consuming fix. Reinstalling windows and updating all drivers will allow the game to function normally.

    , maybe this will help You.

    Desinstall the Game, downloaded it again, when You got an error at the end of the Download, then restart the PC without closing anything.

    Once Back on the Desktop after restart, open the Game. This solved my Problem.
