The Kraken gets stronger (?)

    Hello together,
    a few minutes ago the Kraken encountered me the second time and now even with a full crew it was actually harder to fight him. He made so many holes in our ship that we sunk after four minutes of fighting. I don't know if it was just us being unable to flee or the Kraken being stronger than us but it felt like he was much more aggressive.
    (Sorry for my bad english :( )

    Yes to answer your original question.
    At least as far as I know the kraken will reappear multiple times before you can actually kill it for the reward. Each time it appears it is stronger than the time before.

    Wouldn't you be more aggressive if you got killed and wanted revenge XD

    I actually have no idea if the kraken gets stronger but it would be a nice little touch if it does.

    I have been playing for a while now and I think the Kraken is just another emergent like storms. A constant danger that your crew may have to deal with...

    I don't think it gets harder (without the developers stepping in a making it harder). I also don't think you get any loot from it (no matter how many times you better it)
