All my grandparents died before I was born so it's great having a game that offers such a diverse array of grandmother surrogates.
Jokes aside, I'll say up front that I don't mind the general concept behind the IPG but honestly how many toothless old grannies does Rare think were pirates? Based on the amount I've seen show in the line up it seems like it's gotta be on the high side of 75%.
An even better question is how many little old ladies do you guys think are going to be playing this game? I'm all for inclusiveness and making sure there's a broad representation of characters in games but I have a hard time believing you think grans are really that big a part of your core demo.
This all comes as a result of waiting for what feels like forever while my wife searches for a remotely normal looking female pirate so we can finally play.
It seems like every female that pops up is almost always beyond ancient and the few that aren't look like morlocks. Seriously one of them had an eye that had to be at least two inches lower than the other. What's the point of even having that as an option in the generator? And it was on the patch side too. Makes me wonder if an eye patch would have even covered it or just sat above the low eye.
Please Rare, adjust whatever setting determines how old female pirates spawn in the generator to allow a more reliably diverse age range.
