Can't unequip Clothes and Vanity...

In the beta, you could equip or unequip clothes and beards while looking through your chests by simply selecting the item to equip or unequip it. Currently, you can only equip something and in order to unequip, you have to use the "unequip all" option, leaving your pirate in their skivvies and forcing you to reequip all clothes. Is this a bug, or am I missing something. Thanks for any help.
