Titles?

    Has anyone earned a pirate title yet? I still have a few hours before I can pick up my copy, and I was curious if there were any title examples out there.

    @sierra404 I got titles from each of the trading companies when I played earlier. Can't remember their names but I think I got each for hitting rank 5.

    Oh, so they're basically rank titles, then? Like "captain" "sailor" etc?

    Can you tell me how titles are displayed in game if you have one set to your pirate? Chould you show me screen shot if possible? :)

    Titles just appear directly under your name.
    Everyone starts off with the "Sailor" title and then you get a title for hitting rank 5, 10, 15 etc. in each faction.
    Not sure if there are any other titles for doing special things, but if there aren't. They should definitely be added.

    I have hit rank 12 in hunting for gold treasures but still only have the title "sailor" how do I obtain a better title?

    @robcougar You have to pay for an upgrade at a trading company. Then just go to the clothing shop and the earned titles will be at the very end of the vendor inventory. They all cost 0 gold so far.

    A new title is basically available every 5 levels.
