What if in the tavern (or possibly another building) you and your crew could walk up to a non-playable character and pay some (small?) amount of gold to have a picture taken? These pictures could be used to share cool and funny pictures of you and your crew mates, as well as sharing on social media sites, in turn, advertising the game more.

These would be able to be saved to your PC/XBox too and shared online. It's all in fun. shrug
Heck, if we ever do get Captain's logs, as rumored, they could be added to that, as well.
I just thought it would be really fun to have people all hanging out in the tavern, drinking, and taking pictures together. You could take pictures with anyone. Other crews too.
