You can choose to be a tall and "big b***d" pirate or perhaps a short and runt-like cabin boy. Obviously a bigger target should in theory be easier to hit, but does the size of the pirate change the chance of actually being hit by a pistol or sword?
Does the size of a pirate customisation change the probability of being hit?

Thanks for the clarification.
Can you tell me a bit more of what you know about the Hitboxes in SOT?
Is it a single rectangle/prism or are there multiple ones for the head, gut, arms (hooks), legs (pegs) etc?Additionally, Rare will let you reroll the pirate generator carousel an infinite number of times until you find the pirate that's right for you. It's important to note too that hitboxes will be normalized, so picking a smaller pirate won't help you.
Something to keep in mind though, bigger characters are going to make people shoot at you when they think they'll hit.. I.E. more toward the edges of your character, and there's a SLIGHT chance they'll miss because of the normalized hit box. But at the same time, you're not going to be able to be sneaky at all if you're running around as a big fattie. Skinnier characters will make people feel like they need to focus more when they aim at you, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. It'll be easier to sneak around with a skinny bones character though.

Sorry cant be more help than that maybe a @Rare-Employee might want to chime in to explain them further :)
