After great anticipation and beautiful, immersive game sessions, I am so sad that I will be unable to sail the seas, as the final beta has ended, and life events have prevented me from purchasing the game upon release as I had intended. Alas, I live on a fixed income, and a series of unfortunate events have forced me to put my pirate life aside for a while.
I will miss all of you, the beautiful sound of the waves crashing against my sloop, the joyful shanty always playing in the tavern, the drunken sway of the grog as I guzzle it down my throat, the euphoric pleasure of finding a chest (how could I ever forget the first time I found the chest of a thousand grogs! A jolly good show that was!), even every single time a galleon came along and fired cannons into my sloop until I was forced to abandon it, swimming away and watching it sink laughing manically on an island because I actually thought I could win!
The adventures I have experienced in this game are like no other, and I am lucky to have even basked in the glory of it in a little while, especially with my potato PC, lol. So let's hoist the colors and guzzle a mug of grog once more, for a pirates life is a life for me, and though I am forced to lie down my cutlass and serve some time in the brink, away from my beloved seas, I will see all of you scalawags again someday!!
