hello good, I have an interesting question that could interest you both the design team of the game and all players, I've been looking for programs and applications for several days to get a 3D model of current video game characters to be able to print later with your printer 3D, All that I have seen the anticheat of the game, could you put a way to download your custom pirate and unique with the format in ".stl" file with your own printer?My crew and I would love to be able to do them and be able to paint them later, we are really great fans, and I would like to make this game much bigger. thanks and best regards

@assassin-aranda yeah it would be cool if they offered a DIY version like you said.
From a business standpoint, they could make boat loads (pun intended) of cash if they offered a seamless direct to mail 3d printed pirate option. Offer different sizes and stances and they could get multiple orders :)
Also, a 3d printed ship option would be nice as well.
@assassin-aranda I believe you're able to do this with WoW characters, the Deckhands were discussing the possibility the other day as well, it would be absolutely amazing if we were able to 3D print our pirates!
@KattTruewalker Yep. A site called FigurePrints is who does it for Blizzard. There are other companies around the world that can do similar things, just not as well known.
That would be cool... You would need a script to make sure all the mesh is manifold (no voids etc.) Most compiling software for 3d printers needs manifold mesh input, and most game models are not manifold, but it is do-able. It would be costly to process all models in this fasion so the models wouldn't be cheap, especially with the costs associated with custom one-off 3d printed objects. I still think it is a great idea, but it isn't without some significant challenges... And forget custom paint jobs, that would drive the cost upwards even more.
