I like to give oddball answers to questions like these, so in spite of the fact that neither one turns out to be much of a real pirate in the end, I'm going to pick Robert De Niro's Captain Shakespeare from Stardust, and Carey Elwes' Dread Pirate Roberts from The Princess Bride.

Rackham ( as almost every pirate in the series) is real. Im gonna go with captain flint. I loved his story in black sails. Real pirate? Miguel Enriquez (Puerto Rico) and Rackham. I have his jolly roger beside my Puertorican flag in my living room.

Yep I know that. That's what I love about the show.
But anyway I like the character they made based on him. And his flag turned to be one an icon for pirates.
I do like Flint too.When it comes to real Pirates I like to stay with the mythical Blackbeard!
