I had the Problem wirth Forza Horizen 3, that i could not play online, because i am not able to connect to the servers. But Age of Empires Definitiv Edition runs Perfect in online Mode. I want to play Sea of thieves but i dont know if i need Teredo for this, and i also cannot disable the teredo filters on my Router. NEED HELP :)
Do i need to aktivate Teredo on my Router to play this game online?
@happyalbe I know, :( i heard to late that we had an Open Beta runnig this weekend, i wanted to play with a friend, who has the same Problem
@lordofmadnez I don't think it's a teredo issue. I'm behind firewall and all teredo ports are blocked, but I could still play the game
i am not to sure about this, i tried evrything on this list, and the only thing i could not do was the teredo router thing
@lordofmadnez You quite possibly do need it activated.
From this webpage it says.....
If you find you now can't go to your favorite website, chat club, MMORPG, etc., then you know what Teredo was actually doing, but why it is on your Win7 or higher machine is not really a mystery - it is 'down talking' to IP4 systems using it
If you need to turn Teredo back on for some legitimate reason, just enter:
netsh interface teredo set state enable
at that same CMD prompt. (oh, and reboot...of COURSE).Then see if you have access to sea of thieves maybe?

@lordofmadnez Maybe its also important to note, that i run through the whole Troubleshoot xBox App Teredo Problem solve options by the Microsoft Support, and nothing helped.
@lobofh I tried it, but i still have the Problem, because of the following Point : "Make sure your router doesn't block the connection", i cant change that my Router is blocking the Teredo connection, wich leads me to my quistion again, is it Impossible to play SoT without the Teredo connection ****
As far as I know any router has in its configuration menu an option to open Teredo, google your router model + teredo and I am sure you will find the walkthrough to open it.
@lobofh When i am saying, that i am not able to activate teredo, then, be sure, i mean it. So to answer my question, i will not be able to play the game without teredo. So i will not buy the game!
