Personal Maps find lost Crew holding chest

    The game Needs a personal map, for your crew, they could have a personal map like GTA / Minecraft were you see your friends and the map only shows explored areas. (like fog of war style).
    'so the crew, got owned from a random ship at the skull island, but before they went back to Davy jones locker, our crew member hid the loot chest and left it behind, but because they were not known where that member was last at , without a map to locate stranded crew, we could not get back to find it.’ Another time 'the ship was sunk a crew member recovered a chest and swam to a random island not knowing where it was, the crew at the 'new' ship did not know where to go to pick them up’

    I kind of feel that this game is going to get boring fast , for little rewards for such a struggle , imho.

    I totally disagree with you because if you would add a "personal" map where you see your friends etc it would be to easy to see where your friends are at etc it would be no challenge what so ever to find where you got blown to pieces to get your treasure back. As right now if you just communicate like a team with your compass bearing and if the Island is big or small and all that kind of stuff it would still be a challenge but a fun one. I also think that it would make no sense (at all) to have a map that only shows the areas you have explored as it just does not make sense in this game to not see the whole map. how would you be able to find the other outpost that you have to bring these chickens to? hah you can't because you have not explored that area yet!

    @darknighteagle I disagree with you because with a personal map you would end up going on a save your crew mate voyage, and even could open up to the possibility of putting other players from outside your crew in to the brig making another crew have to find the enemy ship and attack and sink it to get back your crew mate .
    and you did not read my post this would be a personal map, located in the same area were you hold your Treasure map, it makes sense for a team playing video game, GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Minecraft, even Battlefield on Hardcore mode you can see your squad mates on the spawn in map.
    Mark my word they will add a feature like this, and if not in this version but in SOT II .
