Henlo,
considering I would like to pre-order SoT for a friend of mine, how would I go about this? Originally I thought I would buy another copy from Microsoft Store and gift my friend the key for him to redeem, but I cannot buy another copy, apparently.
My only other idea was pre-ordering it from Amazon, receive their activation key and forward it to my boi.
Any other ideas? Any reponse is greatly appreciated.

@mad-jack-ketch That was the first idea altough Microsoft Store requires a credit card to be associated with said Paypal account, which my friend doesn't have.
Anyway, thank you all for the response, I'll do it the Amazon way.
@reinborn You can't buy pre-order gifts for friends currently on the MS store, however when the game actually launches you will be able to gift your friends a code.
The way the microsoft gifting process works is they send the person you are gifting an email with the code. I prefer steams version where it just adds it to there library but either way its a nice feature to have.
TL.DR: Cant gift pre-orders, wait until launch. :)

I think you just saved me. I now realized it's impossible for me to buy the digital code on Amazon, since I'm not from either UK or US, it won't for some reason even sell me the digital goods.

You can ask him if you can login to his best buy account then when you pre-order the game and when the game releases he will get a code in his email and he can pick up a shiny coin too at the best buy store! :D

Thank you for the option, I'll still probably stick to gifting it directly via Microsoft Store but I will keep this in mind.
