Oh what a surprise. The sea of thieves comic is out and not a single female is morbidly obese, 80 years old, deformed, toothless and looks like the result of 20 generations of inbreeding. Official SOT female characters are all thin, young and at least mildly attractive. I wonder why they didn't design all the female characters to look like disgusting freaks of nature... Clearly rare thinks that is appealing since it's being shoved down the throats of the players.
Sea of Thieves comic. Females are hot. Apparently not IPG.
@flowerofcarnage it is a Comic and not from Rare. The artist has made their own characters, I'd imagine to fit with the authors vision/story.
@flowerofcarnage
You have clearly a point, you could never get a character like this from the character generator. This Character looks like from a totally different game, not only the physical appearance (face, hair, bodyshape) also the gear (clothes, weapons, jewelry).@arcangelo87 said in Sea of Thieves comic. Sorry to crash your party, but I had a really good looking woman in-game (all other players I've met said so) and some of my friends had really cool PGs too, both women and men.
We still don't have many customization options atm, you could just wait before spitting judgements.I heard only Pioneers get good looking characters!
Kidding...Just Kidding
@barnacle-remson because it is not from the game and have nothing to do with the in-game IPG.
they are drawn by a person totally separate from the game.
@barnacle-remson no, I'm saying the art is not taken from Sea of Thieves the game. The characters are not taken from the in-game generator but from a real persons own head.
As far as I'm aware, the artist of the comic is not a Rare employee. Neither is the author.
@flowerofcarnage Dunno what is the problem here, I got pretty nice looking females using the generator. Since it is random, you need to use it a bit to get to a pirate that looks more fitting for you. But I don't think they are "ugly", I only saw a few which was overboard unlikable for me, but most of them I would have taken. :)
As mentioned above, the comic book is being produced by Titan comics and based on the world of Sea of Thieves and not the team who have created the in game characters.
The series is being written by Jeremy Whitley, who previously worked on Princeless and Thor vs. Hulk, and features art by Rhoald Marcellius, whose work includes Warren Ellis’ Supergod and The Incredible Hulks. So obviously, it has some big-named talent behind it.
