but i have a plan. however for said plan i would have to take a picture to send to rare personaly. should i wait for a beta test or (and i know it says no picture or video) would under that premise it possibly be acceptable for me to take a single picture in hopes of being imortalized in this game??? EDIT: i must wait for next scale test which wasnt to big of a surprise. to clarify im not sitting here with my hands out asking for them to just throw my name in there in the spare time, if it ends up there i want it to be for a good reason. as i said i have something in mind ,and if my name shows up it will be because i earned it, not because i asked, thats not what i am doing . thanks for the responses

@dem0nscarer I think we all want to be immoralized in the game, but sending a pic of yourself ingame or what ever is not the way to do it. Rare has shown us how. I'ts with your actions in game and your service to the community on the forum. Take the Damned ferry rider and griffen the bannana guy and the wanted poster guy as examples.
@enf0rcer i understand that they are basically watching what we do, however for this i really would need to show them, for what i have in mind i dont know if they would catch it (in no way do i find myself supperior or anything like that i love rare and always have) but its something that would be quite hard to catch unless you just see it, its not really a picture of me or even of anything significant ,and again i do know what the nda says and im not looking for special treatment, just a chance to show them a great idea i have, even if it doesnt end up with my name in the game. i would just be happy to show them something cool and original.
@dem0nscarer I don't think you need to worry about NDA and pictures considering all the streamers on twitch playing Sea of Thieves. BUT - I don't know actually and I may be wrong, If I am I should probably change my profile picture.
@dem0nscarer Well can't guess what you have in mind, but if your concern is about NDA then fear not as the scale test and beta are not part of the NDA. Thats why players were allowed to stream and share screen shots. As long as this pic of your did not come from the Alpha or poineer client of the game your good. Have at it HOSS.
@dem0nscarer Hello Mate! Taking a picture during a Pioneer Session will immediately have you removed from the Pioneer Programme instead of giving you an Easter Egg. Also Rare does not give Easter Eggs to those that ask for them, if Rare notices an accomplishment or something that they deem worthy of an Easter Egg they will then make one.

@dhg-ixxrmacxxi kinda figured... but had to ask ,however as i said either way i just want to show them something cool and original ,and again regardless of if it puts me in the running for a spot or not, i have always had love in my heart for rare and always will, and if even one of them sees what i have in mind and says "hey thats cool" then mission accomplished. i have just been thinking about it for a while and have much passion about this game but thanks for the constructive response.

Who said your chance is over? Sea of Thieves is a Game as a Service meaning that features and content will be added continually over time, likely community Easter Eggs will as well!

Better to say it and get it out there to reduce the risk than not say it and have it happen, I get you :P
I absolutely love the fact that Rare does this stuff with the community. It add a whole other level to how we play the game. Making us think of new and silly things to do, just to have fun and make good memories playing a game. You don't often get this with video games, the chance to make a memory that you're actually going to cherish and remember after you're done playing... Something you're going to tell your IRL friends about and get them interested in playing too.
It's the whole reason I sank a Galleon with a bucket. If I came across a new shipwreck in the game with an easter egg of me in it.... I'd lose my mind, then probably never ever progress any further in the game cause I'd just hang out at the shipwreck for the foreseeable future lol. But even the tiny things are what make it so wonderful. It also makes you want to find those players, when you discover their mark that they've made. It's a great thing all around, whether your mark is made or not, never stop trying to take that extra step to have some fun and bring it to the rest of the community!
