Imagine if once you've taken down a skelly fort, a massive Warship bigger than any we've ever seen comes into the world manned by the toughest of skeletons, this ship would have triple the cannons, and could be taken out traditionally by filling er up with water, or special hardpoints or weakspots (mast, sail, Captains cabin) could be shot to immobilize the ship and possibly seize it for yourself and sell it at the nearest outpost or even sail the seas with it. This ship would be the most deadly ship to ever come across with upwards of 20 cannons and 4 decks full of resources, loot, and danger beyond our comprehension! What do you guys think of this idea, I could definitely see it being put into the game?
Boss Fight Ship
@y0ujerk Correct! That is what they have stated... but we did see early on a ghost ship that was in the works.
So it may be something you spawn off into/get warped to??
@dem0nscarer Nope! It was a video/presentation which got GIF'd in the early days but cannot for the life of me find it now.
@musicmee All I feel is that this idea could still technically fly by their ship policy I guess lol, because thats no ship, thats a dreadnaught
@musicmee i saw it one time as well i just thought i was in the pioneer forums when i saw it. just looking out for you bro
Agreed and I think that's why they went with the ghost ship style, so it was obvious to players from a distance that this wasn't any ordinary ship full of normal players.
@dem0nscarer The NDA for the game was actually lifted pretty recently, most clubs and places you go will have a plethora of SoT game clips, its pretty beautiful to finally see!
@haydensolo yes and i pray my thanks to the god of the sea everyday haha. I actually just recently got pioneer status during the first beta.
@ronfromburbank Maybe to get around that npc issue, it could be a random event where a player/crew is selected to control the boss?
