For those of you who have played the Closed Beta and Scale Tests #1 - 2, you may have noticed that after you have sunk a ship, they respawn typically only 1 island way, in short range from the ship that sunk them.
This is an issue, as it allows players to constantly go after the same person who's sunk them over and over and over again. This kills game play because how can you continue to get treasure, deliver cargo or hunt skeleton captains if you are constantly bombarded with cannon balls? On top of this there is no satisfaction in sinking a ship because they almost immediately come back after being sunk.
I propose this, have ships that have been sunk respawn several islands away to stop them from constantly going after the same crew over and over again. Now, some of you may be thinking "Ill be too far away from my voyage, I'm not going to travel back to the island again". For that I suggest something else, Force a sunken ship to restart their voyage if they were on one. Generally speaking, if your ship has been sunk, you technically have failed your voyage because you did not survive, so doing this is realistic and fits perfectly.
Please feel free to edit this suggestion and add on to it, the respawn system is currently inefficient and needs to be reworked a little bit, by creating suggestions on how it can be improved, we are aiding in the development and betterment of the game.
