I'm not sure if this is the proper area to submit a bug, but if it's not, I will gladly move it somewhere else.
I have noticed this issue, I'm not certain is a bug or not, has 100% occurrence rate (At-least for me).
After a session, before I exit to desktop I generally will sink my ship. So I open my menu and change the "Scuttle Ship" slider to "yes". My ship sinks and everything proceeds as normal (except the rare occasion in which my ship flies directly into the sky and then comes back down).
After my ship is scuttled, I will exit to desktop. When I log back onto the game, whether is be 20 minutes or 2 hours later, as SOON as I get into a game, my new ship scuttles itself again.
I was playing a solo sloop, scuttled, exited game, logged back in ~10 minutes later in a 2 man sloop crew, and even though the other person was not with me when I originally, scuttled my old ship, the new ship scuttled and both of us were required to take the mermaid to a new spawn location.
Several occasions where I was in a two man crew, scuttled, logged off for ~1hr or so, started a new session with the same person, and our ship was scuttle itself as soon as we loaded into the tavern.
For reference, this issue was only seen with Sloops. I did not try or experiment with the Galleon.
