how open world is this game?

    Hi everyone, so how open world is this game? is it like a mmo where all from EU are on the same server, and you can meet every player on the sea, or is there a max cap of players?

    There are a limited number of players per server in a created world, the world is the same no matter what server you are on but you can hop about servers randomly as you log in and meet another bunch of random players.

    @steadierdisc965 the servers are kind on unique. the devs said that you should be seeing a ship every 20ish mins.the way they do this is by flawlessly merging the server that you are in and bring you close to some players. there is a limit, i think around 16 people in a server. but if there are slots needing to be filled in type thing people will get merged into a different server.
