Please add a scoped sensitivity setting. Many PC players like myself play on low sensitivity and low DPI. When I scope in with the rifle, I literally have to move my mouse across my 2ft mousepad about 6 or 7 times to aim. I don't carry a sniper rifle because of it. It's almost impossible to hit someone who isn't standing still.
Thank you for your time to read this.
Please Add Scoped Sensitivity (At Least for PC Players)
@mad-jack-ketch The problem with that is then if u turn a tiny bit without being zoomed in you will turn all they way around, when you are zoomed in it moves much slower
@mad-jack-ketch No, my regular sensitivity is fine with the DPI i'm at. I play at a lower DPI thats how I've always played. The scoped sensitivity for some reason is wayyyyyyyy lower by default and makes it so I can barely aim around while scoped in. If I raised my DPI the scoped sensitivity might be fine but I wouldn't be able to aim or move while not scoped in. Make sense?
They should also add a search feature to the forum so you can see when people post something similar to what you want to post.
Just kidding :) kinda ;)
But I do agree, the sensitivity was very... bad. Not many other ways to put it and a lot of people agree. I don't think it will go to launch unaddressed.
@xcalypt0x We know it's funky, but it is possible to search, particularly if people use tags for their threads.
Got Razer Synapse and you can configure any mouse button (mine is M4) to alter sensitivity and completely circumnavigate the restrictions on sniper play.
It seems daft. You can't do it with cannons, which is a relief, but they need to figure something out, because the sniper is way too accurate to be 'hacked' in this manner.
As much as I love the name and the scope and the variety, I would remove Eye of Glass. Sniping enemies in SoT just seems so... sad. Not pathetic--but a shame. Piracy comes with visions (or in my case delusions) of grand sword fights and cannon fire. Not some Swedish CoDMaster360 teenager picking people off with a sniper from miles off.
I dunno. I think the sniper is a mistake--as much as I like the design and idea (especially the Admiral skin)

Thank you for your time to read this.Hi there,
i agree with you.
This topic was brought up few times already and all the pc community agree that the aiming with the sniper need adjustment, from what i read looks fine on the Xbox. An option to change the speed sound good.
@katttruewalker Haha I was being facetious :) Was trying to suggest searching for post before making new ones but in a light hearted way.

I don't know why people are complaining about the snipers so much. Honestly in my time with the new 2 weapon restriction, I didn't see anyone using them. It was always cutlass and blunderbuss.
Like out of the 15+ crews, including my own that's what we had.
I've had pretty good luck with it, you just have to be super aware of not letting the blunderbuss guys near you.
But I also have a button to go from 1400 to 6000dpi when I ADS.+1 for adding scoped sensitivity options.
I really don't think the solution should be to rely external mouse profiling software because not all players have gaming mice or have access to these programs. For those who use low sensitivity (900 DPI or lower), it makes it very difficult in-game to ADS (aim down sights) since you have to make extremely large movements to aim. This is just my personal preference, but I'm sure each player is different and will want to have separate settings for sensitivity when aiming at the hip or ADS.
