Four crews on a galleon

So yesterday I was playing with a friend and we got into a fight with another small boat, which we managed to sink. After that, the guy swam to us asking for help so we let him on our boat and he joined our crew.
After just a few minutes, we got attacked once again. But after a small fight, we sank their boat too and this crew also swam to us asking for help.
So we were five people on a small boat, doing voyages together.
After some time we got chased by a galleon, but we managed to escape through a storm and we went to the next outpost selling all our treasures.
By the time we got drunk at the tavern, the galleon reached us and sank our boat. So since we lost our way of transportation, we asked the captain of the galleon, if we could join them and they were fine with it.
So we were nine people on a galleon doing adventures, getting drunk and singing together. That was a fun time.
