"beta" test not even appearing in the insider hub

i did not play during the previous beta test rip and i cant download the open beta because it's not available anymore

Opening the closed beta page on the store didn't seem to work for me. I've just spent most of the evening trying to figure out how to get it to work and still have no idea. Not sure if I have access or not. I don't know why I got an email saying I do, if I don't. Sea of Thieves doesn't appear at all on the "Insider content" tab. There is an announcement called "Sea of Thieves Scale Test" but when I try to open that I just get an error saying "Error making an HTTP call. HttpCode: Unauthorized". The instructions in the email are pretty vague and unhelpful.

I've read that the issues with the xbox insider app should be resolved now, but clearly not. It shouldn't be this complicated! I read to create a local account on windows and try to access the insider app that way which still doesn't work. I've spoken to xbox support who also have no idea and blame rare so. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

• Windows is up to date.
• Windows update is enabled.
• I'm signed into the Microsoft Store with the same email/account as I got the invitation email to.
• I'm signed into the xbox insider app with the same account.

Update: The announcement has now vanished from the insider app so there is now no trace of Sea of Thieves on the insider app at all! :)

Hey guys i have question, if i pre order the game on PC do i get the beta acess and how big the game in GB?

This is a thread full of people that cant access it so probably not the best people to ask xD

i saw the email and i was so happy that i might get to play, so i installed the insider app and SOT was not even there

yea i have the same problem had the email but nothing in the insider hub

i guarentee when it gets "fixed" the clucking insider beta will end and i will have to wait till march 10th to actually play, and everyone else will have a major advantage to those who havent actually played

Got to the install page on the store and couldn't download

@combustablegaby it's appeared for me... now gonna see if i can install it (ps plz upvote this post so i can post more than once every 2 minutes)

Cannot download the game to my second drive.....

@combustablegaby can you clear some space on your main drive? is playing the pirates of the carribian whilst SOT downloads

I have enough space but i just want it on the other one XD

Guys you just need to change the country to the United States in the settings of Windows and the game immediately appear in your hub

Same thing. I even opened a ticket at SoT website but I think they didn't get the idea behind vanished announcement (obviously they don't because they answered me with "wait for 24 hours". It was very good tease by them

In short - change the region of your microsoft store (I changed mine to UK)
