Minimum specs for Sea of Thieves

  • Can somebody help me figure this out?

Could my Toshiba Laptop with AMD-A8-3250M APU with Radeon HD Graphics (4CPUs), ~1.6GHz handle the Sea of Thieves?

I'm about to put some money in a new laptop but perhaps this one could still help me out at March 20th.

Ahoy, All you need to know.

  • @liqvicator

I can't make anything out of this. I tried comparing the CPU and GPU on CPUbenchmark but cannot find the correct versions. That's why I am asking for help.

For example; what are Radeon HD Graphics? Can not find a comparable GPU. Same with the CPU, which does not seem to be in the list.

  • @medicpackmack Hey I just checked and compare your CPU to the minimum requirements, you should be able to play at the minimum or maybe if you're lucky one step up from that. Your CPU benches much better than the Intel Iris Pro 6200.

  • @dellaint

Thank you very much. Bon voyage!

  • @medicpackmack I looked again and I was mistaken. I'm having trouble finding info about your CPU at all. Are you sure the model number is correct? If it is, see if you can run a GPU benchmark from userbenchmark and post the results here, that will help us compare.

  • @dellaint Glad you checked again. So it wasn't my lack of knowledge that I couldn't find an accurate comparison.

    These are the (dreary) results;
    UserBenchmarks: Game 12%, Desk 22%, Work 17%
    CPU: AMD A8-3520M APU - 22%
    GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6620G - 3.8%
    HDD: Toshiba MK7575GSX 750GB - 34.7%
    RAM: Samsung M471B5273DH0-CH9 2x4GB - 34%
    MBD: Toshiba SATELLITE L750D

Looks like I won't even be able to play with cursed settings with this 'Tree trunk'

Any recommendations for a new laptop that can handle Sea of Thieves? I don't need anything top of the line.

    Thanks in advance.
