Alright pretty easy one here....Give me your best pirate food and beverages for a SoT launch party. Don't worry the Captain Morgan will be flowing. My goal is to make everyone in the forums hungry for some pirate snacks. Pictures do an even better job of making people hungry.
SoT launch party....what pirate food should I serve?
@ivorydoll well those foil covered chocolate coins in a chest - easy
Also maybe hot dogs with little sails?
@syrio-forel Exactly my thought process! I'm going to grab a bunch of gold coin chocolates and eat some whenever I hand in a chest!
@syrio-forel crazy enough I had those at my wedding reception. I even had a treasure chest with barnacles, some fishing net, and some lanterns. Guess I was always meant to be a pirate.
Great for party menus or props. Personally I like to add some burn marks using a lighter to make it look super rustic before dipping it in the tea or coffee.
@ivorydoll It's actually not as bad as it sounds. You would need to season, batter and fry the conch. The hardest (most tedious) part is preparing the chutney, but it's not hard at all!
@ivorydoll If you're feeling super adventurous, you could prepare some Baby Kraken, though it looks as if it requires a bit more effort!
@shadowstrider-7 I do like that seafood salad with octopus they serve at sushi restaurants. But if I thought the chutney was out of my league this is for sure.
@shadowstrider-7 that is why you have such delicious suggestions. I should hire you to come and cook for my party.
