I was in the Alpha for a few months and now I'm in the Beta. I was wondering if I pre-order the game when I get my tax return, can I give the code for the Beta to a friend so he can stream it to his 20,000 followers on Twitch and be convinced to play the game when it comes out?
I would like to keep the pre-order incentive for the clothing apparel though.
@vikingcat32 The Beta is over, unless an open beta is announced, the next time we get a chance to sail will be March 20.
Beta is over, it ended in Jan. That said, incase there is another one that isnt open for whatever reason your beta code is also tied to the preorder bonus, if you give that away youre also giving away the black dog skin pack. I was gonna do the same as I get free beta entry from alpha testing but checked first and good job I did as you lose the preorder bonus.
@vikingcat32 the code is for the beta (finished) AND for the in-game costume so if you give it away it would give away the costume too (from what I understand anyway)
