The emotes currently implemented have good energy to them.
There comes a point though, when traveling between locales on the wonderfully wide ocean that a player would like to see a third person view of the sea of thieves, which can be access through emotes.
However,
though we have a nice selection of emotes, none of them allows the player to pose a scene. the only emotes that we have that keeps us in 3rd person (good choice btw) is dance, sit, and wave.
friendly as they are, its just not enough to appreciate the seen. to appreciate the pirate standing on the bow or by the helm as the water effects roll by.
I think at some point a pirate wont feel like a pirate when they are constantly waving, or constantly dance. Sitting is nice, but we need another emote that stands. Almost valiantly as the pirate gazes off the sea. Something like a crossarms emote, or a salute emote.
Sometimes people just wanna look at their pirate
and the waving gets old and wont stand still, neither does the dancing, and the sitting -well its sitting
