@lordsilentbunny The E3 2016 cinematic trailer had one or two in it. I hope we get to have a pet. Would be pretty cool.

Cats have always had a place on ships since Egyptian times and have been useful as both companions and rat catchers. This has probably lead to the superstition that cats are lucky to have onboard a ship.
The famous explorer Matthew Flinders had a cat called Trim that followed him on his journeys. You can read more about him on this great website featuring many other cats (it also includes interesting stories of cats onboard war ships during wartime.)
@radzz-the-drunk Yeh the annoying thing is I bought the shark bed for them to sleep in only they usually just sleep on top of it occasionally. I took the video the first day I bought it just to see what they would do haha.
@stacky-a I have a big carton box in my living room for them to sleep in but they never use it. They rather use 3/4th of my bed when I try to sleep.
Not that I could sleep without them laying next to me :)My cat doesn't do PvE. He just likes to sit back below deck and sleep in a nice comfy corner.

Keeping the cat on your shoulder is no problem, speaking from experience - one of my cats, Zelda loves to drape herself around my shoulders while I walk around the house, just have to make sure your wearing thick clothing :)@stacky-a Yeh, we just got a new rescue. Black fuzzly thing (half mainecoon half ragdoll, we guess), named Bubba (cuz he ain't too bright) Fett (step-son insisted on something Star Wars).
Upon our first meeting, he stared up at me, then jumped up to my chest and clung there, spread eagle. Had to pull him off, with a tad bit of blood, but ain't it great when a cat accepts you. ;\
