Recording the game

    Ahoy! I seem to have some troubles with recording my gameplay. Any suggestions?
    FRAPS and Plays.tv havent worked, neither has xbox's own recording feature.

    @simsparrow I've used OBS without too many problems and I know others do too, with mixer, twitch/youtube.

    @simsparrow OBS here too... HDMI capture for Xbox and just window capture for PC... works flawlessly after a bit of faffing...

    Do you mean streaming or recording? I got an external drive for media and have been able to record up to an hour in 4K alright. Only one error so far.

    But my laptop has had trouble playing 4K videos before editing. I discovered last night that clips removed from the external drive and then put back on for viewing on Xbox have to be played through the Media app, because they no longer show up under screenshots and clips.

    I had no trouble recording using the build in windows 10 game DVR until the patch on Tuesday. Now it says recording is not supported for this game. Anyone else?

    I use shadow play without any problems.....well, one.........I HAVE TOO MUCH FOOTAGE!! Way too lazy to edit it all!!
