Question about cross play

    Hello,
    I have been wondering how it is that this works before I buy the game because the cross play aspect has me confused. If I buy the game on PC can I play it on Xbox as well without paying for it again? Or is it two separate $60 fees and just the progress transfers? Also, if I’m on PC can I play in a crew with someone online on an Xbox?

    I believe if you buy it on PC, you can play it on Xbox and vice versa. And you can play with someone on PC/Xbox if you're on the opposite platform, I know firsthand, due to playing with someone from Xbox for 3 hours today without any problems, it is fairly solid in that manner.

    A little question about the cross-plateform. I want a physic copy of sea of thieves but only play on PC. If i buy a x-box on copy and add it to the x-box insider (if it's possible) can i play on PC? or does a physical copy come on pc? ^^

    i bought digital version of this game in xbox and i have in xbox and pc closed beta client. i have question - can i play same time this game - i mean my girl playng in xbox and i play in pc (same time) ?

    @mlago16 So this would be a the Play Anywhere feature that allows you to buy 1 copy through the Microsoft or Xbox store respectively and own it on both platforms. Cross Play is the feature that allows both Xbox and PC players to play together.

    Yes 2 people can play at the same time thanks to game sharing, just not with the same profile (obviously!)
    Do some research on Game Sharing, it's easy to set up ;)

    @logansdadtoo Hi there, thanks for share this info, i was not aware of it. Perhaps you know if is possible to gameshare beetween 1 pc win 10 and one xbox or work just with consoles?

    Thanks for the quick reply, you are always very helpful, i did a very (very) quick research on how to do that but didn't find anything, i will look better now, if you have a useful link handy can you share it please? If not don't warry, don't waste time, i will find it :)

    Edit: after a better research i have find some info and all where ponting to this blog.

    @cr0n0d Here's what you'll need to do:

    1. Purchase the game (Play anywhere title) using your primary Xbox account.
    2. On your Xbox One console Go to Settings/Personalization/My Home Xbox and set your console to Home.
    3. Add the other Gaming Account to your Xbox, that you want to be able to share with.
    4. Log into the Xbox using the other account
    5. Log in to your Windows 10 Xbox App with your primary Xbox account that was used to purchase the game
    6. Enjoy your gameshared play anywhere title.

    yeah, u can share this game with your family but i just tested, u cant play together.
    I did exactly that what u wrote.
    i logged in xbox with my wife account.
    i started with my account in win10 this game - logged in.
    i tryed to start this game same time in my xbox and it says:
    "Game in use"
    "You're already playng this game on another device. Close that game to play it here. (0x8015c1e)"

    that means u cant play same time this game is second device :( u need to buy 2 copys of it

    At any single point in time, you may only sign into the game on one Xbox One console or one Windows 10 PC. You cannot be signed into the same game on both platforms at the same time.
