Weapon damage

  • To be honest ... IAM A LITTLE FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW!

    Long story short: i fought with a guy. I hit him once with the shotgun (about 2m range). Then i hit him with the pistol as well. So far he didnt hit me once. I rush in to kill him with the sword. Again like 3-4 hits. He did not die but I died to 5 sword hits. W*F

    Can someone please explain weapon dmg.
    Btw he didnt eat a banana.

    So far this is a great beta. But this is killing it for me. I dont know what iam doing wrong at this point. Please some1 help :)

    Yes, you could carry 3 weapons right up until the last maybe 4 sessions of the beta. Educate yourself before being demeaning.

  • Weapon TTK is, if anything, too quick.

    Cut bullet damage by 33%.

    But if that is done, then the blunderbuss is suddenly much less useful, the sword is just a “keep swiping to kill for longer”, the pistol would be a superior weapon, and the eye of reach would still be useless, just even more so. I don’t mind the current state of the weapons, but I do feel that some players seem to have more armour than me, whether they eat a banana when I’m not paying attention or they’re hacking.

  • btw when im lagging it can take about 3 clips of sniper ammo to the head of a defult skelle to kill it

    For hit feedback, you can't have 1 shot kills.

    The blunderbuss is extremely random, the same problem that shotguns had in battlefield 1. There, they made shotguns a lot more consistent.

    There seem to be over 250ms of backwards reconciliation on the servers, too, meaning you get a lot of hits and kills that for the other person are completely "what? I was behind a wall!!!"
