Either this is a bug or you have to stand in a specific spot that is very frustrating. My crewmate and I spent over an hour looking for it but We looked all over North Beach and nothing ever triggered but the hint says: "Reading this map a clue you'll see, if at the North beach standing be" We held up the map on North Beach, held up the lantern, danced, stood still on the beach, nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated.

The same thing happened to me at Shark Bait Cove. I wondered later if you had to have a microphone on and speak aloud or make a sound. Either that or just a bug.
I dont think any quest would require someone to use a mic because not everyone has one. When I first started playing, a player joined me and he either didnt have a mic or didnt speak English and used his sword to get my attention or what not.
Just had this bug today “find the north shore no turning back , then open your map” ... did everything we could including walking from one end of the beach to the north side without turning around and then opened and held the map up to ourselves / each other while standing in many different spots on , above and near the north beach ... no landmarks at all except for some rocks and this part of the riddle didn’t require playing any instruments or using a lantern (although the step right before this one required a lantern)...
We even tried going from the first riddle location to the north beach location step without turning back then used our maps ... nothing . So frustrating rare please fix this glitch with this islands riddles .
