I looked at the pre-order page and it's not clear to my what the minimum needed would be to play this game. it just says windows 10. I have windows 10 on my laptop but I'm doubting that it would run this game looking at the beta footage on youtube.
What are the specs needed for this game on pc?
@ursapolarisone The final specs haven't been finalised but there has been many a post saying how well the game ran on their "potato" of a machine... so there is always chance!
You could always preorder try out the beta and then at least its a no lose situation - since you could cancel your order before any money is taken and you will know how well it runs on your machine?

That's good advice, I assumed that when you buy it you're stuck to it wether it works or not like with most games. I'll probably try that
@ursapolarisone I am not sure what the actual minimum specifications are, but one of my units is the following laptop that I have played the game on:
HP Spectre x360 Convertible
Intel i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40 Ghz
8GB RAM
with Latest Patched version of 64-Bit Windows 10The game automatically sets the specs to "cursed" settings, which is the lowest as you can imagine. The resolution is reduced to something like 720/560 or something like that. And believe it or not it is VERY playable. The graphics still look fine and the water even looks pretty good.
I play on this unit when my wife plays on an HP OMEN gaming laptop, which runs at the "Rare" settings level (which is ONLY the middle range of settings levels) and it looks fantastic.I have been tempted to try it on my daughter's i5 laptop, but have not as I am thinking that might not work since it's graphics capabilities are even worse than my Spectre. But who knows, I know they are trying to support units as low powered as possible.

that's what I'm afraid of, my laptop is a baked patato with i5. it overheats very fast and a lot of games I meet the minimum specs for are unplayable on this thing.
