    I too am having this issue. Just preordered to play in the beta. If I'm unable to I'll be cancelling. I hate preording but did so for beta. Store says "Beta is currently not available" and launching the game gives me the "too early" bug. PLEASE HELP!

    @jcmdeadpool I do not see this "code" anywhere. Not in my email either. Where does this come?

    @jcmdeadpool Thanks for the replay, i have seen that article. and i bought it trough Microsoft Sore, its not showing up under my library and when i search for it i get this message :"Sea of Thieves Closed Beta is currently unavailable"

    3) Select 'Redeem a code' from the drop down found at the top right.
    4) Enter your code and Select 'Next'

    Two problems here in this "step by step" guide. NEVER tells you where the code can be found. This is ridiculous. PLEASE HELP.

    @killgannon319 where did you buy the game? if you got it from the microsoft store, it should be in your library. but its not for me. have you checked there?

    From what I understand, there is no code when you pre-order it from the Microsoft store. i believe the code is for 3rd party venders and for an invite via your account with Sea of Thieves.

    I can say this: Microsoft does not charge you for a Pre-Order until up to 10 days before release if you use any other payment method besides already having funds in your store account. This includes using PayPal and Credit card. Is it possible that is what is holding some folks up?

    @moulld Exactly this ^^^ Good Lord Microsoft makes this (Mod Edited) so convoluted. This seems to have worked for me!

    Ahoy! Ye get access to the closed beta fer sure matey!

    Ye must go on yer Windows Store and access the download fer Xbox Insider Hub. From there ye can access the Sea of Thieves from the Insider Content tab on the left and that will take ye to the beta download! Happy sailing matey!

    I have played the game a few days now and getting 0x803F8001 error. how do you fix the too early error after you've been playing it for a few days?

    Hi I have received an email December 2017 at 9 (Thanks Insider, enjoy your closed Beta Access).
    now I have no way to Download the closed beta neither in the Microsoft store or the Xbox inside app.
    What can I do?

    Hi Guys, Ive got a weird issue. Ive installed the game via insider hub, but every time I try to launch the game I get a This app cant open message. Anyone any ideas? Ive reinstalled, unenrolled and joined again, Windows is up to date as well as all drivers. Was playing the Alpha no problems.

    Getting this error in event viewer,

    Haven't been able to play the game since the start of the Beta because of this, and been trying to get it sorted

    Hi hope someone can help, I'm trying to get access to the Beta, I've confirmed my email account to the Sea of thieves insider program and still haven't received a invite. My friends have access and haven't pre-ordered the game and obviously I don't want to pay to pre order a game that I haven't even been able to try first. Am I missing something or have I missed out on the Beta completely now????

    @birkovitch Ahoy there! Since you didn't join the Insider Programme before December 1st the only way you will get to play the game early is by preordering.

    If you preorder from Amazon or Microsoft you don't pay for the game until 10 days before launch so you have a chance to try the beta and request a refund if you don't like what you see.
