to open the chests!!!!!

  • I like to look for treasures, I like adventure but I also like to collect unusable things and then sell them

    I would like the chests to be something a little more special, something more than a burden

    It would be great to be able to open the chests the moment you find them and that these were like the hated "lootboxes" only that these chests you find them

    I would like to open the chest to give me 4 or 5 objects and not receive gold or you can sell the box and win the gold but not have new things

    It would be great if the experience of looking for a treasure were for the players that like to collect things (example: players of the division or destiny) I do not say that they change the game or the adventure, I only say to change the reward ... just a little

  • IDK honestly the game needs anything at this point, they're charging $60 for a $30 game that has little to nothing to do. its only been a couple days and its super repetitive.

  • @yt-blud Have you played the game already? Maybe from outside it looks a bit boring, but its super fun to sail your ship and get better at it.

    @Banana-Feliz in an early Alpha version the chests where lootable and every crew member could take out what he wants. But they removed it because the share was uneven and it was kind of unfair.
    I think a key element of the game is now that you have to give it to the Gold Horder Faction so other Pirates can steal it from you on the way to an Outpost.
    I would love an alternative to give the chest to the Gold Horder Faction. Maybe you could shoot the lock and open it by yourself and it could be more or less in the chest than the "standard" price of that kind of chest, or maybe just an old boot.

  • @univalvewolf976 yes i've been playing since it came out. and i enjoy it, just it feels like we've done everything, and we're just feeling the affects of it being so repetitive.

  • @yt-blud ah youve played from the beginning of the closed beta! Its been going a while now. There is a lot more to it to come this is just a beta. Having been playing from the actual start (of the PC test anyway), and been a part of the discussions and community, I can say that it is being developed with gamers and for gamers from a very sincere place. Don't be worried that a developer is actually being open and honest about its newest product in order to make it the best it can. That's exactly why most big titles aren't developed this way. They give you a trailer with no game play footage, and you get maybe a demo at the most before buying. They want your money and to not risk putting you off letting you play a test build. Rare on the other hand are doing the exact opposite. I believe the price is fair for what I see the finished product being. And if it wasn't, I'd at least have had a chance to know that by playing a test build. If I wanted to, I would even have the chance to make suggestions and communicate with the devs and other players building the game to help improve on what ever it was I thought they had failed on. This is the way forward for my beloved games market. Fair and For Gamers.

  • @univalvewolf976 I really like that idea. I wouldn't say they should change the chests completely to loot boxes, but the option to open the chest would be nice. Maybe they could change it , that if you took something from the chest , the worth of the chest shrinks. I guess the feature to create your own treasure chest would be nice, too. How could you be a legendary pirate without a treasure chest of your own.

  • I don't want lootboxes, even if these ones are not gained by microtransactions. I missed the times where you get money to buy what you want.
    Well, from my perspective the cosmetic items should be purchasable as they are now instead of RNG system.
    Then other players will see that certain pirate got a rare hat because he sold lots of chests in a lot of risky missions instead of getting that item because he just had luck.
