The key to doing well in Sea of Thieves is to keep good positivity and share information with your crew. That is why I prefer to keep the push to talk off. Though I rather not have my crew hear me while I talk to the person in real life. Some do not have a off button on their microphone at arm's length.
- On mouse and keyboard: Let user toggle between push to talk and mute in the menu and let them keep using Alt.
- Controller: Use the unused Menu button on the Xbox controller as the Alt button
