Forgive me if this question has been stated many times. But when I join up with random players to make a crew. I see them speaking (chat bubble over head) but I cannot hear them. I press the push to talk button and I get no response from them. So I presume they cannot hear me either. Is there something I'm missing. I'd love to communicate with my crew through mic instead of pirate speech bubbles.

@vexedwaffle Ahoy there! Double check this guide for instruction on how to troubleshoot this. But bear in mind they may be in a closed party chat talking between themselves and you will not be able to hear them and them not be able to hear you.

After release of the game i encountered the same issue, which i hadn't in beta and previous. So what has changes? why can't i hear anyone and why cant they hear me? Mic is allowed by Win10 and for games, xbox and SoT. I still don't know what i can change.

Sea you on the great pondI was going through hell and back from this issue. Make sure you follow what you read above about the Window Settings but also what worked for me was:
- Go to the speaker on the right hand corner of Windows 10.
- Right Click on Playback and Recording Devices.
- Right Click on Both Headset and Mic that you're using in-game.. and select Make Default COMMUNICATIONS Device (or something along those lines)
- Also make sure that when you go to Xbox App go to Settings and make sure on the option where you choose your microphone and speaker make sure that the same devices you selected as your default communications device are chosen on the XBox Live App.
I hope this helps. I also suggest you go to the Audio Settings and switch between Stereo and Headphones to see which one works for you.

Well i tried some stuff, like setting a specific Mic and Speakers on the Xbox App, at least a person (or even some Persons) were able to hear me, i wasn't able to hear anyone yet. My Crew and i use Discord so far as well while we try to figure out the ingame chat.
Are there any News about issues concerning the server stress ?
