If I change my gamertag will my closed beta access still work?

    To anyone who may know the answer to this:

    I already pre-loaded the closed beta on my PC through my Xbox insiders app. However my gamer tag is still generic, auto-assigned one that I never changed. If I change it now, will it mess up my closed beta access?

    @sprucetexas689 It should not, but maybe it's worth waiting until after the closed beta to change it.
    The only time people have issues is when they were waiting for an invite to the alpha stages and not after they had got their invite.
