Kegs shouldn't be just used as sea mines. Of course, you can set them up and shoot them... but what if you wanted to sneak them on board a galleon, set a fuse and not risk blowing yourself up?
On the other hand, why not light a 10 second fuse and run at a group of pirates with it in your hands? Hell, why not give them to suicidal skeletons? That's a pretty easy enemy idea that changes how players react to stale skeleton encounters...
One more idea, if you reach the keg's fuse in time, you can stamp out the flame. it would be pretty intense to have to run for the keg before it blows up your ship!
The possibilities are endless!
